You asked for it, so here it is!

A book club just for you! Once a month on a Saturday night, Zoom into the
7 Seeds Book Club
to chat with people just like you – book lovers!

Each month Heather Zubek will open the discussion about a chosen book as well as talk about what we’ve all been reading over the past month. It’s not a lesson, it’s not school, there isn’t any homework - it’s a chat about books and reading!

The first 7 Seeds Book Club is on Saturday 24 July at 7pm which happens to be the day after National PJ Day! So, wear your PJs and settle in for a comfy chat about The Right Way to Rock by Nat Amoore. Then – each month we will discuss another book:

Saturday 21 August at 7pm

We Are Wolves by Katrina Nannestad

Saturday 18 September at 7pm
The Boy, the Wolf and the Stars by Shivaun Plozza

Saturday 23 October at 7pm

Lenny’s Book of Everything by Karen Foxlee

Saturday 20 November at 3pm

A Glasshouse of Stars by Shirley Marr

Helping Hands Club

Everyone can make a difference, no matter how young they are!

By joining the Helping Hands Club,

we can band together to help others in need. Each month we can get together to make a difference to someone's life - and perhaps learn something along the way!

Our first project is to make special dolls for the Uthando Project, (https://uthandoproject.org), Uthando meaning 'Love' in Zulu. Because of the AIDS disease, there are over 2.5 million orphans in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. These children have no toys and no one to turn to for comfort. Members of the Helping Hands Club will create unique dolls to send to these children, as well as learning something about the country and culture of South Africa.

Our first club meeting will be on

Sunday 1st August at 3pm
